Here are the classes & dates left for Term 1, 2012:

 

TORQUAY MONDAYS
Dates: 19/3, 26/3
Class Times: 9.15 – 10.15am & 7 – 8pm
Where: Surf coast Shire Facility (Surfcoast Highway). The classes are held in the Gail Couper Room)
Class Description: 9.15am class – this class will incorporate Pilates & Yoga Moves in a flowing style. The moves are slow and controlled and options will also be given. The class is suitable for Beginners (older adults as well as younger) to Intermediate (options will be given). The 7pm class incorporate Pilates moves which are strengthening & also Yoga moves both moves that will increase strength and moves that improve your flexibility. The Pilates circle, resistance band or Gymstick may be used in this class.
What to bring: A Yoga Mat (you will get one in the membership if this is what you choose), perhaps a towel, a drink bottle, wear comfortable clothing (no shoes needed), a smile.

WEDNESDAYS
Dates: , 21/3, 28/3
Class Times: 9.15 – 10.15am & 7 – 8pm
Where: Surf coast Shire Facility (Surfcoast Highway). These classes are held in the Gail Couper Room.
Class Description: 9.15am class – this class will incorporate Pilates/Yoga moves using the Big Exercise. The class is suitable for Beginners to Intermediate (there will also be advanced options given). The 7pm class incorporate Pilates moves which are strengthening & also Yoga moves both moves that will increase strength and moves that improve your flexibility. This is a great class to do if you want to improve core strength as well as flexibility.
What to bring: You will need to bring a good quality Big Exercise Ball for the 9.15am class (the right size for you). Aspire is selling of used good quality balls for only $35 each (they are $90 new). New Balls could also be ordered from us. You will need to bring a Yoga Mat for both the 9.15am & 7pm class (you will get one in the membership if this is what you choose), perhaps a towel, a drink bottle, wear comfortable clothing (no shoes needed), a smile

THURSDAYS
Dates:  22/3, 29/3
Class Times: 6.30 – 7.30am & 9.15 – 10.15am
Where: The 6.30am class is held at the Surf coast Shire Facility (Surfcoast Highway) – in the Gail Couper Room. The 9.15am class is held at the Anglesea Community Hall in McMillam Street.
Class Description: The 6.30am early morning class combines Pilates (functional core & strength moves) & some cardio moves in a station style class. The class will finish off with some Yoga/Stretching. You can work at your own level – it caters for both Beginner and Advanced participants. This is a great class to do if you want to improve core strength, cardio as well as flexibility. The 9.15am class will incorporate Pilates & Yoga Moves in a flowing style. The moves are slow and controlled and options will also be given. The class is suitable for Beginners (older adults as well as younger) to Intermediate (options will be given). Resistance Bands or Pilates Circles may sometimes be used in the class.
What to bring: You will need to bring a Yoga Mat(you will get one in the membership if this is what you choose), perhaps a towel, a drink bottle, wear comfortable clothing & good shoes, a smile.
