I’d like to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!

I had no idea it was Valentine’s Day until I received a message from a friend this morning.

Have you got a special Valentine? That special soulmate? 

I speak to many women and that’s what many express they long for - for a deep connection of love, understanding and closeness. But here’s the thing, we gotta love ourselves, become acutely aware of oneself (know oneself) and have addressed the wounds from the past. We have to then be open and on the frequency of what we want to attract. It’s a delicate act, it’s a beautiful gift when it happens. 

The woman you see in this photo is loved, deeply loved and appreciated. Not by someone else, but by the woman again you look at. 
I’ve come to a place in life where I truly love myself. I am grateful for my past experiences and I’m thankful for my learnings. 
The learnings have been steep and difficult and there has been many times I’ve thought, this is it.....I can’t do it anymore. I can’t allow myself to fall again, to open myself to be vulnerable, to receive love, to experience fully. But my inner voice, my spirit has always nudged me and said “you are worth it” and it will all happen when you totally surrender. 
There is no rush. I’m loving getting to know me more everyday. 

But I know this time now is just a transition, I love giving, I am nurturing and I love joy, connection and creativity, to build something extraordinarily beautiful. 

The past is the past, I am the beautiful soul and being because of it. I’m excited about the future but more so happy and peaceful in this moment. 

The unity and connection when two souls come together that were meant to be together comes together is time altering. Everything stops, the senses are highlighted. There’s a sense of peace and homecoming. 
All in good time. I feel it, see it and hear it all. Wow! Amazing. 
I for now sit in the space of love for myself, for the woman I am, have become and will be. It’s a nice place to be this Valentine’s Day in paradise.

Do what makes your heart sing
The new year has begun. Let’s welcome 2023 in and set the intention that it will be a peaceful year. Peace starts within, so let’s decide now to start with ourselves – to promise ourselves to follow our heart and to do things that make our heart sing.
 
I started my New Year in my happy place – in and on the water. New Years day was a day to remember. The weather was magic. You know, one of those days that does not come along to often.
 
I started with a swim in the ocean and after that I used my Christmas present to myself – a blow up Stand-Up Paddle Board. I just absolutely loved it!
I had a chance to explore the ocean from above. The water was so clear so it was wonderful to watch the bottom of the ocean.
It was so beautifully relaxing. It just made my heart sing. I was filled with gratitude.
 
Can you make a promise to yourself to do what makes your heart sing 2023?
It just make life so much more rewarding, fun and peaceful.

Can you decide to "Let Go"?

One thing that connects us humans is that we experience pain - both physical and emotional. That is part of our human experience. We all experience both at some point in our lives. In the last few years many people have experienced emotional pain. What separates us is how we deal with that pain. 

I have experienced a lot of emotional pain in the last few years and I wanted to share with you some of my ways of how I have dealt with this.

Like anything, it's about awareness. We first have to become aware of that we are in pain and once we are aware, that gives us the ability to choose if we let it go or hang on to the pain. Becoming consciously aware gives us the power to choose and life is all about choices. 

If you find yourself stuck and finding it hard to move forward, then it's a sign that you have emotional pain that prevents you from from healing.
There is always learnings from hurtful/painful situations. But it can be easy to become "stuck" in thinking about "how things should have been". One thing is absolutely clear - we cannot change the past. We all know that, so why do we sometimes choose to become immobilized in painful memories and feelings? Isn't it better that we realise we have a choice to change our thinking about the past and learn how to "let go".

If you feel stuck and find it hard to let go, then let me share with you some of my ways that have helped me how to deal with emotional pain.

Address your thoughts and words 
When you become aware of having a negative thought, take the time to re-frame that thought or that sentence. For example, if you think or tell yourself - "I am stuck", you can reframe it to " I am moving forward easily and effortlessly". You can also create a mantra that you repeat to yourself as you are out walking

Focus on You 
This is so important. It's not selfish at all! Bring yourself in the present moment. Focus on something that you are grateful for in the present moment. The present moment with yourself is a wonderful place to discover.

Distance Yourself
Distancing or removing yourself physically from the person or situation that is causing you to be "out of balance" can be helpful. It brings the focus on to you as you are becoming less reminded about the "situation"

Be Gentle with You
This is so important. As yourself if you treat yourself with kindness and compassion? Would you talk to your best friend as you talk to yourself? Start treating yourself with love and compassion. You are deserving of that and it's necessary if you want to move forward.

Start practising mindfulness
The key is really to stay in the present moment. When we are in the present moment we have more freedom to choose how we respond to our lives.

Allow yourself to "ride" the negative emotions
Avoiding the negative emotions such as sadness and anger can stop the process of letting go. instead allow yourself to feel the emotions - "ride them", let the flow through you. If you don't theyu can "get stuck" - wouldn't it be better to let them go so that they don't manifest as illness.

Accept that you can only control you
Sometimes we want a person to understand or apologise but that is not an expectation we can have. They may never understand and you may never get an apology. One thing that we can do though is to choose to accept that having expectations on someone else is not helpful and it can prevent us from healing. Ask yourself, wouldn't it be better to focus on you and what you can control.

Take care of you 
It's so important to practise self care and self love. To do what brings us joy and happiness and to start to listen to our own needs. Start to honour your own heart. This is a game changer. Then you step into being an empowered being. Always remember - you are worth it!

Spend time and surround yourself with people who truly care 
It's so important to open ourselves to lean on people who care. This can help us during times of emotional pain and help us let go and move forward. Isolation is not the key to emotional healing. We as humans need connection and closeness. Allow yourself to have this.

Give yourself permission to seek support
It's important to allow oneself to talk about it. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It's more important to get it out and let it go. Find a friend you can trust and who can hold that space or a therapist trained to do so

Forgiveness
Forgiveness for oneself is necessary if we want to "let go" so we can heal. To expect someone else to forgive us for anything can stop the process of "letting go". Forgiveness gives us the power to let go of many unwanted emotions.

Reach out
Always remember to reach out if you are noticing yourself being really down and stuck. Help is out there.

How often do you start your day without checking in with yourself? Maybe the first thing you do in the morning is to put everyone else’s needs above your own, your kids, your partner, your pet, work and so on.
It's very easy to fall into the trap of focusing our needs on other people and things than on ourselves and the more we do that, the less we focus on our own needs, we starting to feel the effects. We start to become overwhelmed, stressed, frustrated and so on.


If you don’t give yourself time to check in with yourself on a daily basis, you may feel a sense of disconnection from yourself and your dreams and goals. And the more you avoid your own needs, the more overwhelmed you can become.

I have found really helpful to avoid falling into the trap of being overwhelmed  is to set a daily intention. This means taking a moment to pause before the day begins and asking yourself what it is you want to get out of it. This does't need to take more than five minutes, and it keeps you connected to your goals, your desires, and your needs.

Setting Intentions daily can change ones life. We become creators of our life and we become masters at manifesting and most of all, we can begin live our authentic life!
I have also found that I am able to stay more mindful throughout the day and focus on the type of energy I want to attract and put out into the world. When I take a few minutes at the start of the day to set my intention I also choose an essential oil and I do this intuitively. I use high vibrational essential oils for ultimate wellness and in conjunction with daily intentions and this makes it is extremely powerful.

For years, I felt like I was pushed to my limits, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. I believed that I was really all alone in my struggles and felt quite isolated.
The physical and emotional pain I experience was at times overwhelming.

Even thought I was living a healthy lifestyle, eating healthy food, exercising and doing meditation.  I was still lacking in energy and experienced pain. I really believed that I was doing everything to improve my situation. And one day that all changed when I was introduced to some products.
To be honest, I had used similar products before, so naturally I was very sceptical, but given that the person who introduced me to these was also working in the wellness field, just like myself - I took a leap of faith and decided to give them a go, after all what did I have to lose!

Since then my life has transformed, not on just a physical level, but also a mental, emotional and spiritual level. I get emotional just thinking about it all now and feel so incredibly blessed and grateful for this gift that was presented to me.
Now, I am living a life full of abundant wellness, I love my soul purpose and I am able to create abundance in life.
